\n\nWith the recent news that Australian designer Collette Dinnigan will be closing down her fashion house, bride-to-be’s have been scrambling to find ‘new-age’ wedding designers who will provide the perfect whimsical and romantic dress. Look no further than QLD-based Shannon Pittman who started her own bridal label Bo & Luca in 2013 and has had a trajectory rise in the bridal industry by providing a fresh and diverse approach to the ‘wedding dress’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A native New Zealander like Collette, Shannon sells her two collections exclusively from her own salon in Brisbane with most of her customers flying in to meet her\u2026from Perth. Her daring and romantic dresses seem to suit the WA lifestyle and climate perfectly and the bohemian aesthetic and free-spirited approach reflect the more relaxed approach brides are opting for, turning away from formal gowns and ball rooms and opting for more natural locations such as the beach, parks and even their own backyards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In little over 12 months, Bo & Luca has gained a huge social media following and was most notably selected by online wedding bible The Lane to be a wedding dress worn by Megan Gale for their fashion story The Wanderer, shot in Mexico, which garnered headlines nationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is this exciting affiliation between Bo & Luca and Perth which sees WA’s leading diamond jeweller Solid Gold Diamonds present Bo and Luca’s collections for the first time in a bridal show on Wednesday March 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon Pittman will select dresses from her Bohindi and West Azur collections to be shown and also select a ring from Solid Gold Diamonds engagement ring collection for each style of bride she caters for\u2026The Romantic\u2026The Nomad\u2026The Bohemian\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
