Over 40 years of craftsmanship, innovation and enduring quality
Peter Greene, Founder and Executive Chairman, turned his dream into a reality by establishing Solid Gold Diamonds in Perth. His journey began in 1972 when he moved from London's Hatton Garden to Perth, where he started crafting jewellery in a basement on Barrack Street. His bespoke creations gained recognition, leading to the opening of the Solid Gold Diamonds showroom in the historic Gledden Building on Hay Street, owing to high demand for quality jewellery.
Solid Gold Diamonds quickly expanded, necessitating a move from the Gledden Building to their flagship West Australian store in 2013, where visitors can witness the creation process through a specially designed glass wall. In 2014, the brand extended its presence to South Australia with a showroom in Adelaide Central Plaza.
Peter Greene's dedication and reputation have earned Solid Gold Diamonds certifications from prestigious brands. As an Australian icon, the company aims to become a household name for generations to come, reflecting its remarkable journey and commitment to crafting exceptional jewellery.

The GIA (Gemological Institute of America) is the most widely regarded and recognised diamond-grading laboratories in the world. Be cautious of any company offering other types of certificates.
