Making a Dream a Reality
Making the arduous journey from London's famed Hatton Garden in 1972, Peter arrived in Perth and began creating jewellery from a basement in Barrack Street. His bespoke pieces became widely recognised, and such was the demand for quality jewellery, natural progression saw him open the Solid Gold Diamonds showroom in the Historic Gledden Building in Hay Street.
Empowered by a simple yet integral philosophy, Solid Gold Diamonds rapidly grew and soon the pursuit of creating unique jewellery pieces saw the company outgrow its Gledden Building premises. In 2013, Solid Gold Diamonds proudly opened their flagship, West Australian store. Separated only by a specially designed glass wall, the combined showroom and workshop of our Perth store offers a unique experience for our visitors.
South Australia was next to woo Solid Gold Diamonds and in 2014, our Adelaide Central Plaza showroom located in the famed Rundle Mall was opened. Most recently, we expanded our presence with a new Adelaide showroom at 32-36 Gawler Place, just off Rundle Mall, offering an enhanced and convenient location for our valued customers.
The success of Peter Greene's operations and his reputation has seen Solid Gold Diamonds be awarded certification by many prestigious brands.
